Treasure Island is located in a good spot on the strip; across from Wynn, and Venetian, next to The Mirage and in walking distance of Caesars, Bellagio, Harrah's, etc. Has a great buffet called Dishes and the rooms are real nice. Parking is easy in and out for self-park.

I've never stayed at Circus, Circus, but it's farther down the strip and a longer walk to the "Miracle Mile" so to speak. There are also too many kids at Circus, Circus.

Have stayed at Golden Nugget and it is also very nice. It's downtown, but sometimes it's nice to be away from the strip.

Depending on price, I would stay at Treasure Island as first choice, then Golden Nuggett. I wouldn't stay at Circus, Circus.

Dont stay at Circus Circus! It's old and really needs a face lift. It's a fun place to gamble and has the Adventure dome, arcade, and circus acts, which is also fun for the kids. However, the rooms and food choices are not the best.

Golden Nugget is really nice. You can walk up and down Freemont street and visit all of the smaller casinos.

Treasure Island is in the center of the strip and is a lot of fun for adults and kids.

It just depends on if you want to stay on the strip or downtown and if you are taking children with you. I would choose between Golden Nugget or Treasure Island.

I would stay at Treasure Island. It is right in the middle of everything (new casinos, free stuff, walking distance to everything). Circus Circus is a little run down, not nearly as nice as it used to be. Golden Nugget is up on Fremont Street. If that is where you want to be, then stay there. If you want to spend most of your time on the Strip, then dont stay at the Golden Nugget.

One more vote for Treasure Island. The Golden Nugget is a nice hotel surrounded by the blight of downtown, while Circus just sucks. TI has very good rooms, a great show (Mystere) and is connected to the Mirage. And Caesars is a very short walk.

Tresaure Islandhas the best all around atmosphere and show and gambling. Circus Circus is where I had the best gambling luck but the hotel looks like s***. Golden Nugget didn't have any of the amenities that I wanted but good bar tenders.

I went to Vegas on a business trip last February, and we stayed at Treasure Island (now referred to as TI). They have now made themselves more of an "adult" place to stay, one of the clubs called Tangerine has lingerie' shows from time to time. They also have a really good Cirque de Soleil show, Mystere'. The pirate show is also more adult, called "The Sirens of TI". I have had friends who have been to Vegas and stayed at Circus Circus and Golden Nugget, when I told them about TI they expressed that they wanted to check TI out.

I stayed at Treasure Island and my brother stayed at Circus Circus because he had kids and thought it would be more fun. He regretted it as soon as he saw our room at T.I. T.I. has recently undergone some renovations, so everything is even newer. C.C. is old and tired. G.N. is not on the strip, and I wouldn't suggest staying there, but would suggest going down for the light show one night.

When we went to T.I. we found a great deal on this travel site that booked our flight, hotel and car. In the end, we didn't need a car. Don't book a car, save more money and walk or take a taxi. You can still find a great deal on hotel and flight packages though...

Circus Circus would probably be the cheapest (and the one with the most Kids)

I was out there in Sep and the Nugget had just begun renovations that were going to take a year to complete.

TI has one of the best Buffet's on the strip (Dishes) and you can walk to Harrah's and The Mirage also.

But I have to agree with the other person who said stay at the MGM Grand, its my prferred destination on the strip.

treasure island--it is the newest of all those, and you can link up to any of the mirage hotels (b/c it and others are owned by the mirage so you can get points on your players club card

circus circus--have also stayed here, but it is further down on the older part of the strip. we got grabbed and harrassed walking back there at night.

golden nugget--is downtown...totally different atmosphere than the strip. a little more skeezy. ive never stayed downtown, but they are the oldest casinos.

i would say treasure island...their rooms are nice and the place is very new!!
