I want to get my boyfriend something he'll really like for Christmas but I'm low on money... actually have about $12 bucks. :( I already bought him a couple things but I want to get him something else. Is there I can possible make or at least afford for him for around that price? Any creative ideas? He's 16, into anime, video games, and writing.

I would go to Walmart or something like that. They usually have movies for around that price or less. I would find him a anime video or something very macho...a guy movie with lots of explosions!

Try a cheap book he might like. Twelve dollars isn't a lot, but you should be able to find a book. Everyone likes books. Just put together what he likes, and find something interesting.

How about some coupons for things you can do together. (hug, kiss, etc.) You don't always have to spend money for a gift to be fun and enjoyable to both of you.

I always thought ID bracelets were a great gift. His name on the front and your name on the back. They are not that expensive either.

since he's creative, a writing tablet or broaden his horizons with a sketch pad and pastel chalks. it also shows that you are interested in his inner thoughts and it's affordable.
