use your shaving razor.....just make sure you hold the fabric taut....but you will literally shave them off....works a treat...

There is a product called D-Fuzz It that works better than anything I've tried and is least damaging to the fibers of a garment. You can get them very inexpensively in fabric/craft stores and online!

I had the same problem. I just picked them off with my fingers.
