I would love to hear about your meeting with someone famous. Who was it? What was the situation ? What did you notice about the person that you didn't know until you met them or saw them in person ?

I met the first George Bush on a couple of occasions. His hands are kinda meaty and squishy. Tyra Banks has probably the prettiest set of legs that I've ever seen up close. Mike Tyson seriously puts off some serious "I'm not really stable" vibes. Leonardo DiCaprio comes across like a fratboy toolbox in person, and Bob Hope was just about the nicest guy I've met.

I use to date an actor (not famous); but I met famous actors while I knew him. I met Tom Hanks and James Woods at a birthday party for a director's mom while in Malibu in 1981. It was a very cozy, civilized fun party. I remember Tom Hanks and James Woods both being very polite and nice people. Tom Hanks had not been in Los Angelos long at that time. He was from New York and was doing Bosom Buddies on TV. As I talked with him, I do remember seeing a golden light around him. I never shared that with him, but I knew that he was meant for greater things in his life.

Not sure if "famous" you mean in the entertainment industry and if you mean "world famous"

But when I was in school, I did a French presentation in the presence of the King of Thailand. And it was not like, in a large gathering. We were in a small room and he was there in person watching. I felt so privileged.

I actually got invited to for a drink with Phyllis Diller back stage after one of her shows in Australia. She was fabulous, not snobbish at all and very hospitable funny and charming lady.

I met the late Luther Vandross backstage at a concert. Talked to him and took a picture with him in the back of his limo. Also talked to his back up singers and music director as well. I have to say he was not all that friendly. He said he was tired but he did let us take a picture with him. I also shook hands with the late Coretta Scott King (Martin Luther King's widow). I also talked to to the black coach of the Boston Celtics during the time Larry Byrd was on the team.

I have in my opinion met Senator Hillary Clinton (spoke at the same time with her presently and replaced into given a huge hug with the help of her) at the same time as she replaced into operating for the D. cost ticket. She had the most important effect on me, i do not care what all her "haters" imagine. 2d to which could be Ellen DeGeneres, who's basically as humorous in the back of the digicam as she is in the front of it. And for some uncomplicated reason, i'm perpetually operating into Jay Leno! replace: I forgot to point the recognition I met who i replaced into LEAST inspired with, and who replaced into the shortest- Tom Cruise ;^( Hillary replaced into my well known although. She is a procedures extra wise than she has been given credit for interior the media.

I met Brian Froud twice and Josephine Wall (the artists). The former is pretty shy, quiet and ordinary-looking but I love him to bits. The latter had fairy wings on and green glitter all over her eyes. It was an indoor Pagan festival, though. :]

I also saw Ulrika Jonsson back when Gladiators used to be on TV. She was tiny.
