You learn to love yourself as you are. You learn to love your life as it is. You do the things you like to do and enjoy different activities.

Just as I finally realized that this is the way to accept and enjoy your single life, I met my soul mate.

I say quit spending so much time worrying about it (and less time on the computer) and maybe you will meet the love of your life. It doesn't always come your way, maybe just maybe you have to go loves way!? Don't deal with it, never give up, it'll happen when you least expect it. Most people have a admirer, but don't know it. I know you will find your great love, remember one must love themselves first! Happy holidays!

Why do you think that the great love won't come along??? I would rather be in you're shoes, then I'm mine. I had my great once in a life time love and lost him. They say it's better to love and loose, then to never love at all. I think that's a bunch of crap. You can't have a broken heart, or miss something that you never had. Dealing with the loss is much worse then missing something you never had. I wish you luck on you're journey to happiness.

This is a great question...
I have already accepted this fact as a possibility....so now I'm just enjoying the single life and having my freedom....saving money,
working out...spending it on things I like...and laughing whenever I hear about how bad marriage is and the people that are miserable in their relationships....and content with myself for not having to go through it....Another way is to listen to Tom Lykis

I also agree with what tannedkni sais.

stop looking. The more desperate you come across the more people are going to turn away. You need to start learning about yourself and find happiness within. Sooner or later, someone will see you and find your self acceptance appealing and the great love could happen. Good luck

it troubles me that you seem to have given up on romance. i believe there is someone out there for everyone. try to think about what it is about you that makes you think you are not desire able. if it is about looks...then i want you to take a serious and hard look at the people in your community. really look at them.there are some really , what i would consider, unattractive people out there in happy and healthy relationships. that comes from being comfortable enough with yourself to share yourself completely with someone else....with all of their faults and your own.
please don't give up.
i didn't and now i am married...this will be my 12th Christmas with the love of my life. and though our relationship has been hard and had its ups and downs. i wouldn't trade it for anything.

its not that it may not come, its that it hasnt come. everyone gets a great love at least once. it could be a spouse, it could be a family member that loves u, a friend, or u could realise that the only way for someone to love u is if u love urself first

Man ya jsut gotta have faith that it will.... I believe that love is created and lust and all that other stuff comes natural.

Love is what you make it and true love is unconditional so its not gonna be a smooth ride all the time..

But love will come to you.. just make sure you dotn shoved it away...
good luck finding Love...

Blessings

You enjoy the heck out of all the "lesser loves" that DO come your way. No one knows what "great love" is anyway, could be that any one of them is as "great" as it ever gets.
