You ask him to sit down and then calmly explain this to him. Tell him that you will leave if he lies one more time and then DO IT!!

I'm one of those types of men that lie ! Even by omission, I still get caught.
I am guilty as charged, however sometimes to tell the truth is really cruel and harsh and unfeeling, but I guess we just get it wrong.
It is so easy to become defensive and then to knee jerk, reacting by covering up our failings or misadventures. Sometimes we wish we were better than we actually are, so pride must be part of the cycle.
So, sit your man down and try to discuss the reasons or needs behind the lies / falsehoods. Try to establish and understand the problem. Then make a plan together where there is some sort of arbitration to address the breakdown in communication. Mind you, if the lies are to cover up affairs or gambling, then that is another matter all together and I can not help there.
Good luck

First you have to prepare yourself for the idea of really "going away" if he doesn't stop. If you are truly to that point, then sit down with him and explain to him that you can't go on being lied to. Ask if he wants counseling. He may be a habitual liar and need help stopping. Offer to go with him.

Just like that.
The hard part is, the next time he lies, you have to go away.

I'd pack his bags, put them outside, change the locks and leave it at that.
