Well, iPod's are a real pain. If you've had it for 10-15 years, the battery is dead and there's nothing you can do about it(which means your iPod's dead and you have to buy another one or just not get another one). Apple doesn't tell you that, it's their seceret so you can buy the iPod. I suggest you buy an mp3 player.

It doesn't work because iPods suck. Ive had five already and theyve all broke, and i havent done anything to them.

Try updating your iPod with the latest software updates. Sometimes reflashing it can bring it back to lfie
