I'm just wondering. I see them on guys still, and think it's a hot look, so was thinking of getting a pair of my own.

Don't worry so much about trendy as what flatters/ suits your face. Chances are you're talking about a pretty big investment, and being trendy isn't worth it if the glasses don't look good on you. Bring along a friend - one who will do you the courtesy of being honest - to go shopping for glasses with you if you don't trust your own judgment.

You shouldn't worry too much about that. If you like the look, and the frames are comfortable, then by all means do so. If you wish, you could ask your optician's opinion of the look before you purchase them. If he or she is an honest person (and I see no reason why he/she wouldn't be) then you will get a good opinion as to if those frames suit your face.
