I have hip pain when i play basketball...i have practice tonight. If it starts to hurt should i tell him and have him take a quick look at it? or just deal with it?

i dont have time to go to a doctor...i meant should i have a coach look at it and possibly give me ice or a bandage or something like that

Sports injuries should be treated by a doctor, not a coach. It should be something that they can help you with and maybe even give you ways to prevent further pain.

I would recommend that you see your doctor about this - the pain might not be stemming from the hip - could be from somewhere else.

see the coach tell you can get to the doc ...its better then no one looking at it!
