I heard that he was a failed or "sucky" Quarterback from years ago. BUT the thing is hearing this guy talk is painful. He's usually interrupted by THANK-YOU MISTER OBVIOUS. And/or other rude comments. Anyone else notice this? Who the heck is he?

No. This was not a way to piss people off. I could care less about a man who played fot the Eagles. I swear he is just like Hoge always ranting, and raving about the damn Steelers. No matter how much they suck, oh and their medical staff.

His name is Ron Jaworski and he is the last guy to take the Eagles to the Superbowl (other than McNabb) years ago. He is one of the worst analysts ive ever heard in my entire life. He just rants and raves about how good the Eagles are regardless of how well they actually play. He is so biased towards them that is why they call him out on it all the time, b/c he will not shut up about them. EVERY year he thinks the Eagles are the team to beat. Pretty much everything he says is WAY off the mark, I dont see how he still has a job to be honest he is absolutely TERRIBLE at his job.

Ron Jaworski is the only analyst with a brain in the crew (unless Tom Jackson is there, he's good too). They resent the fact that he takes his job seriously, and he spends time watching actual game film in order to form an accurate opinion. He is the only one on the show worth listening to; the others are bobbleheads.

Jaws is more interested in Brett Favre’s read progression than Brett Favre’s childhood home. I've never heard Jaworski spout meaningless cliches, like "All David Garrard does is win games!" I enjoyed hearing the crew talk about how “Vince Young beat the Jaguars.” Gosh, what do you think did it — the one pass for six yards in the second half, or the four rushing yards on four carries?

Anyways, I linked (below) two good stories about getting a chance to watch film with Jaws and talk football with him. That should give you a good idea of who he is as an analyst, and where he's coming from.

'Ron jaworski",He played qb for the eagles in the 80's ,he was a pro browler who held the record for most consecutive starts in the nfl at qb position until brett favre took it last year. He's not so good analyst because he is biased like most of the former nfl players turned broadcasters for their former teams.

He was a pretty good qb in his day but I think he has it in for black qb because Randall Cunningham took his job. He should like McNabb because they both choked in the Super Bowl for the Eagles.

He was a quarterback for the Philadelphia Eagles in the years around 1980. He didn't suck, he was a pro-bowler who took the team to the super bowl. Played for Dick Vermeil. I think he gives good analysis.

he was a decent qb for the eagles during the 80's.i also believe he holds the distinction of being sacked the most times of any qb by lawrence taylor.

haha...I think this was to try to piss people off, nice. Anyway, Ron Jaworsky is a pretty solid QB from back in the day. He is their pre-game field reporter and is pretty respected throughout the league.
