If we try to appease both factions we will have no effect. If we support the Shiaa they will not create an open government. We must support the Sunni Arab if we want to be a party in Iraq where the oil is -- we need oil!

And the Kurds, there is also oil in northern Iraq. The Shites are linked to Iran.

And in supporting Sunni we also support Osama bin Laden since he is Sunni also. I don't think so. As far as the oil situation goes there is enoug coal in this country to power it for another 150 years and that includes technology that transfers coal to gas. And then there is the largest oil shale reserve in the entire world in the western half of the U.S. It has been therorized it alone would power us for over 200 years. Then there is the huge oil field that was recently found in the gulf of Mexico. Need the Sunni's? Bullshit? They need US to buy there product.

It's too late. The US has always favored the Shiites, and the Sunni's territory has no oil.
