i have an accord 2001 honda and i am replacing the tires. i live in watertown ,MA and
am thinking of going to sears any opinions about sears ?
what are the extra charges i would incur ?

In general, I prefer Michelin or Bridgestone. You really need to get specific. You can check ratings for individual models of tires on places like Tire Rack.com

Sears is ok. I think they're too expensive though.

I like Costco the best. Nice equipment, good prices, good CS, etc. But, you need to be a member.

If you need to go to a chain, find one that lets you bargain over the prices.

I would say go with Mastercraft. I had them on my 99 Alero and after 30K miles they still looked brand new when I sold the car. They are reasonably priced, ride nice, look good, and are pretty quiet.
