I have been a mom since I was 17 and I cant stand people saying our lives are over! My girls are my life. I can raise them, I am married, and I am 6 weeks with number 3. I love my family and what would you rather, a teen being a mom taking care of their family, or out at parties where there is beer and drugs? My life is better with my kids and I love the Idea of being a young mom. I wont be like 65 at there Graduation. Don't dare say I am to young, because my kids have more than most 30 year old families can give kids.

Underage is only wrong if you parents want to press charges, and thats if you are under 16 and the other partner is over 16. If one is over 18 and one under, charges can be pressed.

Hey, I'm 25 and I just found out I'm pregnant again. This will make #4. See where I'm going with this? Anyway, I got pg. the first time when I was 17 and delivered by the time I was 18. I have a 7,5 and 1 yr. old. I planned all of my children, and I did notice that my treatment was a lot different with the first. Considering I was under 18 I was put with a bunch of other pregnant teens, half of whom couldn't even read, I was so very happy to be given adult treatment the next time. I'm not sure why some people look down on young girls when they are pregnant. I feel that I am doing a good job and I'm happy that I started young. To each their own, and don't let anyone make you feel bad. Do the best you can do, that's all anyone can ask.

Giving up a baby would mean escaping from one's responsibilities. If you had the fun you should take care of what you created and this is valid for the fathers as well.

However, and I don't mean to offend you at all, just curious...don't you think 16 is too young to start experimenting with sex and most of all to have babies? At 16 i had just started going out with my first boyfriend. I don't want to criticise you, I don't know you but I believe that sexual relationships involve too much emotional and moral energy to be embarked into so early on in life...

For your own information, i'm a lawyer honey, there is a thing called underage sex (under 16) and it's illegal.

I'm not criticizing...but i can't stop wondering about what you gone a do in the next 5 to 10 years. Having a baby is not about you and that you are not partying but what are you gone a give and how you gone a be able to take care. If it was your daughter was pregnant and had a baby, would you tell her don't give up...Is it really your message...
... should it be ..be smart ..be somebody...and if you have a baby make the best of tour self so that you could be an example for your kids.
I'm a mother too....i have a 4 month and i'm studying and is working hard to make a good life for my kid..
I'm against abortion, but I'm not against wearing a condom and being careful.

i am 23 and i criticize younggirls who get pregnant because they are usually not as responsible as you, especially when they don't even know how theygot pregnant in the first place. I know you are a teen and think that you know everything, i was your age not that long ago and remember what it is like, but take it from someone older that teens need to stop having sex and babies.

I have been reading your add ons and i just wanted to say that you asked the question so why are you getting so upset...there are always going to be people who disagree with you and you won't like it but that is life, especially when you ask such a contravesial question.

I do not understand why a babies are having babies. Why miss out on your teenage years to change diapers?
If you are not on welfare or anything like that then do you have your own place to live? You are saying really like you do it on your own but do you really? Without your parent's help?

I just think that if you already had a baby at age 15 then why did you get pregnant again? Didn't the hospital explain to you that you should get on birth control at your 6 week check-up?
After all, it is your life and not mine so i really can't tell you what to do or whatever but congrats on being a young mom

Good for you, hopefully you'll not screw your kids up too much by being such a young mom. Not sure where you live, but in the USA, we got these things called condoms. They will prevent pregnancy most of the time. Recommend you learn how to get some.

because us older women are critizing you because you arnt even experienced financially and you are putting a hardship in your parents lap because you arnt mature enough to understand the consequences to your actions and further more you are taking advantage of your parents. Later in life when your kids are about your age and the same thing happens to you youll understand right now you are what every mom has nightmares about!!

Try birthcontrol next time and hopefully you can teach your kids to take responsibility for their actions and not burden everyone with their mistakes!!

Under the age of 21?? Girl I'm 20, graduated from high school and college, married and waited to get pregnant until after marriage. Re-think your statement.

You are just a little girl, I'm an adult. I suggest maybe you try a form of birth control, and stop trying to give advise to anyone older than 17.

I don't think its all older women who criticize young moms but didn't you learn a lesson after the first child. It looks like you didn't considering your getting ready to have number two.

Good Luck to you though........it sounds like you are ready to accept the responsibility for your children and thats great. There's no greater influence on a child that the mother.
