My grandpa sent me a pair of really pretty, small burgundy stud earrings around Christmas time back in 2003 when I was in third grade. It was meaningful because my grandpa was really sick at the time and he died two days before Christmas. I've been able to not loose them though so I'm glad.

One year I got a bicycle when I was 12. I always wanted one and we never had the money to get one. And my mom surprised me and my sister and little brother with bikes for christmas. I think I cried and cried because I was so happy.

My husband actually went out and got a gift for me. Just having him spend the time shopping and trying to pick something out that I liked was great! (Can't remember what the gift was, but I sure remembered the gesture!)

I think for me that would be life itself .I had open heart surgery and it's a gift to be alive and doing well.to share family and friends.
