He's 78 - and he certainly did present the Palladium show - I remember it well, especially Beat The Clock, which passed for high excitement in those days.

Well that's the facts out of the way... let me share with you MY memories of "Sunday Night at the London Palladium"...
It finished at 7.30 and we kids were hurried off to bed; until one Sunday I was a tad tardy - and it came back on!
Turns out it finished at 8 and our Mum & Dad liked to watch "Beat the Clock" and the finale without the encumbrance of young children!
After that night we ALWAYS stayed up til the "revolve" stopped, the curtains closed, the lights went out - and the commercials came on!

I was thinking the same thing myself just the other day. I remember him doing the London Palladium, when I was a boy. I'm sure he looks fitter and healthier then me.

I reckon he must be about 78. He was recently described as a 73 year old, but I think the clock must be slowing down.

actualy he is 78 and this is his last season on strictly come dancing he got a health scare lately and the BBC are concerned hope he is better soon he is a brilliant dancer and also very fuuny and yes you are right
