What is you favorite holiday memory?

Mine is when I was about 8 or 9 a friend of the family came over dressed as Santa and had a truck load of presents for my brother and I including new bikes. I still remember my red 10 speed huffy. I was so proud when I rode that bike!

On one christmas eve night, I was allowed to sleep next to the Christmas tree. I remember the excitement I had when I was waiting for Santa to drop from the chimney and greet him. I also remember being alone by myself and having second thoughts about sleeping downstairs by myself. However, the christmas tree lights spread warmth and love to me and it seemed to keep me safe. Even though I never stayed awake long enough to see this mysterious Santa, I will always treasure in my heart the feeling of warmth, peace, and happiness radiated by the Christmas tree.

It's not really a favorite holiday as such, it was being a child, and tasting cotton candy for the first time.
