Whilst we are talking about theme tunes, do any of you find that pop songs take on a completely different meaning, depending on what they are used for? Like Stereophonics 'Handbags and Glad rags' for 'The Office'? It always makes me cry!
Which ones do you find memorable or emotional?

Howard's Way music by Simon May initially an instrumental version then as "Always There" sung by Marti Webb, version that entered the charts.

Programme then resorted back to instrumental more upbeat version

If you want emotion in a TV theme tune is has to be the piano tune at the end of 'The Incredible Hulk' where David Banner is thumbing a lift.
Brings a tear to my eye every time.
