Sorry to be a little graphic, but I've been getting kinda painful cramps for a few days now (on and off) kind of in the vagina & rectum...
No constipation or anything, and they do eventually go away, but sometimes the rectal cramps are so bad I can't stand up. Happens mostly in the morning when I'm about to get out of bed, but also at other times.
Has anyone else had this? What is it? I don't really think it's anything serious, I mean weird cramps and pains happen all through pregnancy, but is there something I can do to relieve this a little?
Thanks so much if you can help me.

as for the pain in the rectum area you probably have hemrrhoid..what a fun thing!! jk/..anyway you can have hamrrhoids on the outside and or the inside...if your in one position for a long time (like sitting or laying down) it can cuase that discomfort so try repositioning your self. If your sitting down, keep moving (shifting your weight) if you start to feel that discomfort shift your weight to your left side to ease the pressure off of your rectum. I'm 27 wks and know how you feel it really sux! but that's what works for me. Also if you can don't be in a sitting position for a very long time...like if you're at work and have to sit..take a few "walking" breaks throughout the day. Not standing for a long period of time or sitting for a long period of time also helps reduce the comming on of vericose viens..you could still get them but like i said not standing for a long time or sitting for a long time helps. and rubbing your legs helps with that too...sorry i know you said nothing about that but i thought id throw that in there. And don't worry if anything was or is crucialy wrong you'd probably be spotting or something like that. so i have to say your going through what i am :)...Try those and hopefully your pain subsides and you feel better :)

Might be the baby pushing on a nerve, might be hemroids, might be round ligaments stretching. Doesn't sound serious, but a call to your doctor couldn't hurt. good luck and congrats on your pregnancy!

Its most likely vericose veins, you get them in that area as pregnancy goes on. And they hurt really really really bad as the viens swell, bruise and burst.

That would be my thought.

maybe the baby is pushing on something.. maybe you slept in a bad position so the baby has to find a find to position him/herself too. i am not really sure, but i would ask the doctor for sure..

good luck
