I have a really cute miniskirt and really want to wear it. Is it wrong to wear a miniskirt in December? What months is it appropriate to wear a miniskirt? It isn't really short, but I don't have leggings to go with it to winterize it. Also, can I wear a sweater with a scarf with it to winterize it? Any tips or anything would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!!! :)

Wear a cute scarf to match and winterize it. Add some leggings [buy a pair or two, they're useful] and add flats [though a part of your foot might be chilly, you can NEVER EVER wear sneakers with mini skirts or skirts at all..unless its sporty but even then]. So thats all. Good luck!
P.S You can wear mini skirts practically through all the seasons as long as you make it apporpriate for the certain season =]

It's not so much the month that dictates appropriateness, it's the weather and the occasion. If the temperature is very cold to the point where you have to wear a coat , hat, gloves, and scarf then no, wearing a mini skirt is not appropriate. If you are attending a formal event , a work Christmas party or a family Christmas party again, no a mini skirt is not appropriate.

I do I have these cute thick tights from Old Navy I wear under it and I wear snow boots and I sweater and a scarf to match the tights. But dont wear athe mini without any thing like leggings, tights, because even if you do wear winter tops you are contradicting the whole outfit by showing your legs then having on warm tops.

I wear miniskirts in the winter. I just wear warm tights with them. My favorite are cotton tights from EG Smith. They are thick, warm and comfortable. I love wearing their tights! They are so comfortable you'll just want to wear them all the time. They are so comfortable that I never wear panties with them. I also like boots, sweaters and scarfs for a miniskirt outfit in the winter!

Miniskirts are in-fashion this winter season if you wear them with leggings (tights or crop leggings) with heels or flats OR without leggins + knee high boots. I personally don't care for this fashion trend but it is IN.

Personally, I think that wearing a mini in December is kind of silly, unless you have leggings to go with it. You could get some really cheap ones at Wal-Mart, maybe?) It just seems to say "I care about my looks so much that I lost my common sense!" lol
If you REALLY just have to wear it, I would recommend some tall boots!

Yeah you nailed it girly sweater with a cute tank top underneath it leggings with a skirt yeah scarf would make it cute! try a gold necklace gold makes it look fab!. And if you wanna go further with the winter-ish look try comfy boots like uggs or something.

why don't you try wearing big long furry boots or long stockings or at least pantyhose. If you can get leggings, that'd be your best bet. the sweater and the scarf is a really nice idea.

mini skirts are a year round clothing item..i think anyways. especially denim ones. maybe get some uggs or furry boots to wear with it and a cute sweater. this should make your outfit look more winter-y!!

Its fine in Florida, or south Texas and south California... Where are you from?
I imagine that miniskirts are temperature dependent... If its cold, can you use leggings?
