On itunes or walmart music downloads, I have yet to find any songs sung by the Beatles. well except for some solo tracks under Paul McCartney. That and Beatle songs sung by other artists.
Anyone know why this is?

Because the copyrights to the Beatles music is very expensive, and the owner does not want to give it to ITunes to be able to sell for so cheap. Metallica and Tool do not allow their music to be on ITunes either.

The rights to those songs are strictly controlled for copyright and monetary reasons to make sure the writers get paid royalties, plus Apple computers was sued for the Apple logo because the BEATLES own label was APPLE back in the early 70s,The beatles claimed they owned the rights to APPLE.

when apple computers used an apple as their logo the Beatles sued apple computers for copyright infringement. in the settlement apple agreed to never use the computer to make or play music. well as you know apple did not live up to that agreement and apple records has never allowed the Beatles music to be sold by apple computers
