1. set the equation to "y equals" form
y=9-2x/3w
2. multiply both sides by "3w"
3wy=27w-6wx
3. divide by "3w"
y=9-2x
4. change 'x' to 'y' and solve
y=9-2y
2y-y=9 therefore y=9

do the same for the other one...

2x-3wy=9 then -3wy=9-2x then y=(9-2x)/(-3w)
(3/8y+6=x)*8y then 3+48y=8xy then 48y-8xy=-3 then 8y(6-x)=-3 then y=(-3)/(8(6-x))
