Well the population of Edmonton just hit the millon mark last year. So yes people do live in Edmonton. I live 4 hours north and could never live there.... The roads are too insane to drive on, plus I love where I live!

We lived in Edmonton, moved away from there in 1996. Edmonton is a very nice City. Lots to see and do.

I flow to the two cities commonly and not in any respect have felt dangerous in the two place in day or nite yet i'm a guy no longer a single mom. Downtown Calgary has some rouigh spots as does downtown edmonton. i think of its a toss up in terms of that. Calgary is the extra white collar of the two, (has extra head places of work than the different Cdn city) is plenty closer to the mountains and parks and extra suitable airline connections in and out. If I had a decision i could probable look there... around the glenmore reservoir or extra suitable south or on the west element around the college/Alberta childrens and Foothills scientific institution area or extra suitable west are enormously secure, relatives oriented areas. to no longer disparage edmonton through. around the college campus is fantastic, St Albert is an exceedingly intense high quality city yet approximately quarter-hour tension from edmonton. If I went there and commute became no longer an argument that'd be my place to look. .

I guess Edmonton isn't totally vacant as I still live here. What do you want to know? You need a lot more detail.

No. It was bombed in World War II by a German U-boat. And then a glacier swept down over top of it. Actually, the entire country of Canada is just ice, all the way up to the 49th parallel. When you cross the border, it's just this gigantic ice wall in front of you. I am sitting in my igloo, sled dogs curled at my feet as I send this through a telegraph. It's been a rough winter, what with the ice roads closed and all. You should come and visit us sometime; I make a very good raw fish & baby seal casserole.
