NaHCO3 -> NaOH + CO2

Step 1: Determine which products are solid.
NaOH (lye) is solid. CO2 (Carbon Dioxide) is a gas. So, you're calculating the theoretical mass of the NaOH

Step 2: Find the mass of the reactant. Convert to moles.

Step 3: Find how many moles of product are created per mole of reactant (in this case, it's a 1:1 ratio)

Step 4: Multiply the # of moles of product by the product's molar mass to find the theoretical yield.
