So, you people think it's okay for an 11 or 12 or even 13 year old LITTLE GIRL to have a baby?!?! Who brought you up? I really hope that those aren't the values that you will be passing on to your own children, if you have any. Think a little before you SHOOT your mouth off!

Abortion Saves Lives!
Everyday on this site, I see LITTLE girls, some as young as 11 stating that they are pregnant, and don't know what to do. Everyday, I see these pregnant teens at walmart, the grocery store. . . and it's just so so so so sad. Their lives are over.
Since parents these days have seem to forgotten how to teach morals and values to their children, they think it is okay to have sex whenever they feel like it. WHAT HAPPENED TO WAITING TIL MARRIAGE LIKE WE ARE INTENDED TO DO?!?!?!?
If I were you, I would base my report on these very young teen and pre teen girls, and how, just because they've made the mistake of having sex, that DOES NOT mean that they have to live with the mistake of having this child. They can abort it, LEARN from the mistake, and move on to have a NORMAL life.

I'm against abortion quite simply because it is taking away an innocent life. If some young girl gets pregnant then maybe she should have considered this outcome before she spread her legs!
People automatically assume teenagers will be bad mothers, this is totally false. My friends' 17 yr old cousin just had a baby and she loves him more than anything and is lovely with him!
There are some reasons however, for example rape or incest or severe disability or pain for the baby or the death of the mother of course, but it is also a moral question. Could the person live with themselves if they had an abortion?
There were some stats in the paper today about women who were on their EIGHTH abortion of convenience, that to me is barbaric. There is always adoption and the millions of couples out there who can't have children would sell their souls for the babies some people decide don't deserve to live.
Abortion should be kept legal because if it wasn't people would go to back street abortionists and die on a filthy operating table.
To conclude, abortion is the best in some circumstances for individuals. Keeping a rape/ incest child is a difficult choice to make. If a baby is severley disabled or poses a danger to the mother are probably the only justifiable reasons. But if you are pro choice I'd say that unwanted babies will be neglected by parents which can be prevented by abortion. Also rape and incest carry such an emotional burden that abortion will be best for the mother and finally that a baby is a huge responsibility and if someone isn't ready and their partner doesn't want the child then maybe abortion would be considered in this circumstance.
Good luck in your debate.

I'm one of those people who are both for it and against it. I believe strongly in pro-choice, so I lean more towards being for it though. So many people say, "give the baby up for adoption", but then the mother is left dealing with wondering every day if her baby is safe, and what it is doing, and what it looks like. How many children are in foster homes just waiting for a good home? Would their lives have been better if they had never been born? Or what about the mothers who kill their babies after they are born because the child really wasn't wanted? What if a couple absolutely cannot afford a child? Should they struggle their whole lives trying to meet the needs of that baby? But, I am absolutely against late term abortions.

Being "pro-choice" does not mean you are "pro-abortion" or "pro-death". That is what most people don't understand.
I am against abortion as a method of birth control, but feel that there are cases where it is ok. I might not personally have an abortion, but I do not feel anyone else can or should decide for everyone. Especially when it is going to happen anyway, and if it is illegal it will only happen in unsafe and unclean enviroments, and the women having them could be very seriously hurt or even die.

No, I'm not for abortion. Why would you want to take an innocent life? There are so many women out there who can't have children and would love to be mothers. Why have an abortion when you can use adoption and give some deserving woman the child she's always dreamed of having but was never able to conceive? Why kill an innocent little baby because the person who got pregnant was dumb and didn't use protection? Give that baby a chance with a family who is going to love him.

Well. Ultimately, abortion is a "no-no." It encourages irresponsibility. Just look at the big picture of things. People do this sexual act mainly for bodily pleasure. Then, when unintended pregnancy comes - Abortion comes to mind.
Entering into sexual activity has its consequences; everybody knows that. If you are all up for it, it just plainly means you are not taking accountabilty to your actions.
But, if you're on the side of PRO. Well... you can say that it frees people from the heavy burden of parenting and, to others- most especially, SHAME. A lot of people who choose to abort have so little options. They know the stakes of having conceive.
My suggestion for you... talk to people who have had to abort. Or talk to an abortionists - they know a lot of things about this matter.

If a woman is raped or the child is going to live in severe pain then I am for it.
I know that it isn't the childs fault for the mom being raped. But if you were going to be the mother of achild you didn't even want ...imagine the stories. YOur only here because i was raped, i mean wouldn't the child feel so unwanted and dirty. They woudln't have a normal life maybe if they were put up for adoption and never told about there birth parents.
As for having a child that is going to live as a veggie...then no. Thatisn';t fair. to the child

I'm definitely pro choice. It's a woman's right to choose what happens to her body. Personally, my husband and I can't wait to be parents. However, there are so many young teens out there, who aren't being educated about safe sex, who aren't financially/emotionally/physically ready to be parents....and in some cases, they SHOULDN'T be parents, because they may not be mature enough to take care of a baby.
It should be the woman's right to decide if she is ready to take on all the responsibilities of a baby.
On the flip side: I don't agree with people having multiple abortions. People should learn from their mistakes, and try to avoid getting pregnant again. People shouldn't be aloud to take advantage of the system.

I'm against it and as far as the person stating that the "teen girls are ruining their lives,": What does she know? I got pregnant when I was 17. My life wasn't ruined. There is always a life lost in abortion; the baby's. That's the reason I'm against it. If there is ever a time the the baby's life isn't lost due to abortion, I'll be for it. Until then, I'm against abortion.
*******My aunt was raped at 12 years old. This was 42 years ago!!! Her son is 41 years old now. Her life hasn't been ruined.

alright im agenst abortion. but there are special cases if the girl is too young, or raped, or if she knos its an inbred baby. there are alot of reason why abortion are good. or if she cant support the baby and be able to give it all the love it needs. its scary being pregnate and sometimes girls dont kno what to do. but i am pro life but there are reasons why some girls choose abortion.

Im pro-choice Because my body is my own! Because if they take abortion away our rights will slowly go away. Because a fetus to me is not a child. Because i want my daughter to have access to safe legal abortion. Because its a basic right. Because its a safe medical procedure. Because its my life. Because its my choice. Because i dont want a bunch of rich men controlling my body. Because i dont want religion forced on me. Because every child needs to be wanted and loved. because not every sperm needs a name. Because i want to create a better world for living people. Because of the constitution. Because God is Pro-Choice. Because i live in america.
Because Choice should be a Choice!
