do you prefer long descriptions or short right to the point descriptions

Keep it short, and descriptive.........

Don't include what it isn't............ you ever seen listings where people have done that (e.g. "Nokia N-Gage... not sony-ericsson, motorola, etc") and thought to yourself "what else could it bloody be? if I was looking for though things thats what I would have typed in the search bar instead!".

Nor should you write a description like
+++Nokia N-Gage+++
or
~*Nokia N-Gage*~
or
nOkIa N-gAgE
otherwise people will just think your an idiot.

Just say what it is, what's included, any extra's it needs to make it work properly (e.g. Barebones PC system - just add an operating system), and any defects.......... and include some decent photographs of it if possible.

the trick is to match enough word searches so that your item shows up on more searches.
