how do i check wht processes are starting up with my computer and how do i stop them starting up

Start Menu -> Run -> Type in "msconfig" and it till pop up for you. Move to the tab, Start-Up

control alt delete that shows the process, then you can close the ones you dont need
or start then run type msconfig then see whats in start up and untick the ones you dont want

click start, run then msconfig go to start up tab and untick anything you dont want to run on start up, when you reboot a small window will appear, tick dont show again and apply and all is done

open configuration settings.and stop the ones you don't want to get a connection.
