Not at all. I had never read vampire fiction before Twilight. I thought I would hate it. I couldn't imagine that I would like it or any book with vampires, but a friend recommended it to me and it was really great. So give it a chance, you might like it.

Not neccessarily. A lead character is a vampire, but it's also a romance-ish, and not all that bloody or anything if that's what you don't like. In fact, the author says that she doesn't really like vampire stories, but of course she wrote the book, so it's got to be fine!

It was a good book, and you don't have to be into sci-fi all that much to enjoy it. It was a good one time read, but the herione was somewhat annoying because she was helpless.
And the vampires had to run around protecting her.
But other than that, it's good!

i didnt think so. i didnt really like vampires all that much, and i still read it
i thought it was a really good book. Its one of my favorites
