This if it ayall happens will reduce the manipluation of poor countries by the Rich Nations and also reduce the corruption by third world Dictators who manipulate their currencies against the so called hard currencies to make Millions for them selves. For example Indian Rupee in 1947 was a big silver Coin today it is not worth its weight in Paper it is printed on.Some body stole all that Silver.Of course the money traders will be out of job but the era of peace and happiness will begin.

Not if it works like the federal reserve
The idea of centralizing the money is very real. Alhough it sounds good it is only leading to destruction. This will be done by an RFID micro chip, that can keep track of everything about you. Only giving the goverenment all knowledge of you.

Absolutely not each Country has it own standard off living, culture and traditions. How would having the came currency solve any problems when there is such vase differences in difference regions of countries for example I'm sure that the State of Maine do not share the same wealth and riches that say that California enjoys and they have the same currency.

Do you really think having one currency for the world will solve Poverty? If so, please explain that one to me. I agree, there are countries that do manipulate their currencies, China is one of them.

I am against one currency as well as a one world order. If went to one currency then the next step would be to create one governing body for the world. The UN would like to see this done with them being the ruling order.

Face it, power breeds corruptions. This will never change as there will always be poverty

A one world currency would only be possible with one world govt. It would be a real shame if that happened and quite frankly a disaster. I don't believe some of the things people post on here. Have any of you guys ever read "1984"?

Yes we should all be ruled by the American dollar oh yeah wait we all are already. A better solution is for the country's of the world to recognize us as their undisputed masters and contribute something meaningful and useful to the collective or become a glass field.

It seems pretty easy to think about, and yes the world should have one currency, but how do you propose we suddenly change the entire worlds currency? It would be pretty hard if you think about how big the world is today

No. The way to reduce poverty is for those who have too much to give to those who have too little. I hate the big salaries that our movie stars and professional athletes get. It is ridiculous. If they just gave a lousy $5million of their $20million dollar salary that they received for that last crappy film they cranked out, the world would be a better place.

The Euro is failing.
I don't want my life to be influenced by the rest of the worlds money problems.
NO WAY!
Only poor countires would benefit, and I choose to live and work for my money, in a country that is stable and secure.
