Was your son asking about Dwarves mythical, or Dwarves real ?
Big difference one type doesn't exist in the adult world!
The real dwarves are ordinary people who are under 4ft 10ins Adult height. This can be caused genetically and usually leads to a disproportionate body with either short limbs to torso or normal limbs to short torso, or a growth hormone defect. In Pituitry Dwarfism the body is in proportion and can be corrected if diagnosed in childhood. (The term Midget was used for Pituitry Dwarfism but was seen as derogatory )

Kids live in such a weird, surreal world. We teach them that magical things really exist: Santa, Easter Bunny, fairies, etc. Is it any wonder your son is confused about what is real and what isn't?

Who's mad ?? Your Dad ?? Maybe he's very short like my hubby, and it's a touchy situation. Your dad should have some humour, and enjoy his grandson. ~~~~
