What could this mean? I have never had an eating issue before... please only answer this if you know what you are talking about?

what shows up in our dreams is what becomes a part of our consciense in the literal sense. it could be your conscious thought or your unconscious.
dreams don't symbolize the future or mean that deep down you want to be bulimic.
what it means is that you have been thinking about this. you brain is always working even while you sleep. it is organizing and reorganizing your thoughts and whatever information it has retained.
you have retained this information. that is all. and maybe you were involved in this book like it really touched you..if not then it is just some more information you retained
you know you dream every night. its true. the only thing is that sometimes if you have dreamt during your period of deep sleep then you wont remember it and think you didnt dream at all
and if you dream closer to your last hours of sleep, you remember. so who knows what you'd think if you remembered your dreams every night!

This is not rocket science. You read about a girl with bulemia, you dreamed about bulemia. This doesn't mean you are in any way bulemic, it just means you were thinking about what you read.
