I would suspect it will be very busy.

As to danger, it depends on how you drive. When it is foggy, I stay in the inside lane, and just pootle along behind a large lorry, leaving lots of space to brake. The key is, don't rush, and stop at service stations for coffee and a nibble.

It's likely to be absolutely bloody mental.

I drove from Liverpool to London last night in the fog, and it wasn't too bad. But it won't be a problem on Christmas Eve, you're unlikely to get above 15 mph!

I drove it today, and partly because of the junction with the M5, it's grinding to a halt. It'll be a mare regardless of when you go, but what can you do. (except maybe drive it at 4 in the morning, That might work)

i think traffic will be heavy everywhere on christmas eve afternoon.
if you do use the motorway in the fog please be careful and keep your speed down and lights on.

yes it will be mad always busy where m5 meets it. will be maddnes cos it will be likeminded men going to do there xmas shopping in the bullring or mailbox.

yes because you could be either wrapping presents or cooking or traveling or something else i just don't know what but you could be really busy
