A type of engineer.
Career Description:

Spurred by general population growth and an expanding economy, employment of civil engineering technicians is expected to remain average. They will be needed to help design and construct higher capacity transportation, water supply, and pollution control systems; large buildings and building complexes; and to repair or replace existing roads, bridges, and other public structures.
