Well we would have to ask you the question ? Would you have pulled over if you hit someones child? or would you have kept going ? Well in a sense you did run over some one s baby . I know that I consider my dog my baby . Yes regardless if you were late for work or not you still should have pulled over. Now karma might hit you . I am sorry but you should have pulled over. good luck and god bless you and happy holidays.

Yes! Definately you should have. Can you just imagine the way that dog must have felt.

And if you had helped, you might have saved it's life.

I think you now run, or ran the risk of an arrest, by not admitting responsibility.

It is also very bad Karma to not at least try to make amends for losses we have caused others.

Absolutely, I would pull over if I hit a dog or to aid someone else that may have hit a dog. I would not be able to just drive past.

YES, you should have. I have only ever hit an animal once and I did pull over. Poor thing died. I went to the nearest house, which happened to be the owner and offered to pay for a buriel or new puppy, but they declined. They did thank me for caring enough to stop though.

Definitely! The poor dog might have died and the owner is wondering what happened to it. Did you go back and look for the dog after work. It might have been hit by another car and suffered horribly! Shame on you ...

My dog isn't just a pet, he's part of the family. If he got hit by a car, I would want to know so that I could get him checked out. I understand your feelings, but you should have stopped.

Yes you do when next time you hit the dog or other animal like a cat, deer or anything. Just check when it is injured but alive take it to the vet immediately.

Don't worry about it. You could have pulled over but I wouldn't have touched it. It could have rabies or be really mad. After you hit it you should have called someone (police) to get the dog before it got really hurt.

Of course I would think about it its a hit and run basicly. Is the dog badly injured? Did the dog have tags because if he did you should have called the owner.

you really should have because would MIGHT have been able to save it ifd it was hurt. was it a full on hit, or just a clip? that poor dog could have died, or you could have done it a favour by letting it go to a better place (if it was a stray!)

don't feel bad!
