• Couple Status Aged 18+ = £90.10/week

The law does not say what we live on, the area we live in deter ms that. The law gives guide lines, for what is poor, average, and well to do. But there is no law saying you have to live on this amount!

I think the figure set by UK Gov is £150 per week, being the minimum amount for a person to live on. This applies to people on benefits, so that the sum of benefits meets this figure and does not fall below it.

Nothing, take the illegal immigrants who have been given notice of deportation - they get nothong so the only way they can live is to steal or beg.

Just get a job of any sort then work up until you get enough to live on yourself.

This government takes millions of pounds for the so called welfare state and just line their own pockets.

It doesn't say anything about that. If you don't have a job, you're screwed. That's why there's so much crime: millions are unable to find a job; so to simply stay alive, they get criminal. Vote democrats if you want to change that.

now a bloody lot, if you are on job seekers allowance then its roughly 98 pound a week for couple, plus they pay your housing benefit and stuff, believe me, its not a good option!
