It was always a ritual at my parents home even though I thought dressing in my Sunday Best was going too far for a 15 minute diatribe.
Still, as my parents, would comment, one must keep up one's appearance and one's standards at all times. I think that's is along the same lines as wearing clean underwear in cae you are rushed off to hospital, never mind the blood and gore staining the rest of your clothes as long as your underwear is clean.
As for all those ne'er do wells who want us to become a republic well hanging is too good for you. Bring back the National Anthem at the conclusion of television and radio broadcasts! And not that pathetic purile Advance Australia Fair either because nobody knows the bloody words! God Save the Queen is our National Anthem as it is for all true sons and daughters of fair Albion. It is only way we shall keep the yellow horde from our doorstep if theiy know the sun never sets on the Empire!
Do I still watch Aunty Biffy on Christmas Night? Most times I do. Why? It is usually better than the umpteenth Christmas special rerun I have seen over the past 40 years!
Now where did I put my dinner jacket?

nope cant see the point she says the same sort of thing every year and what affect does it have on our day to day life. it gets all those viewing figures because of people leaving the tv on after dinner and falling asleep there for looking like they have watched it but not

Yeah, I do, along with loads. It's just not "fashionable" and that's part of the appeal of HMQueen. Timeless dignity and attention to duty.
