Don't believe the NAS hype...hip-hop aint dead

I definitely agree that hip hop is dead and rock is alive. I used to be in to rap before, but then I stopped listening to music all together. Due to the fact that, RAP was getting OLD and just tasteless, same songs, same lyrics, just crappy music overall.

Then, about 2 months ago I started listening to rock because my husband was always in to it, so I said okay i'll give it a try. Now I CAN'T LIVE WITHOUT IT ! I LOVE IT ! I even went to my FIRST CONCERT ! I went to see +44 & The Matches, it was awesome!

Some of my favorite bands are;

Blink182 (so sad, they had to break up), +44 (mark hoppus former blink182's band), FALL OUT BOY, The All American Rejects, The Killers, Panic! At the Disco, Amber Pacific, My Chemical Romance, The Ataris and many many more ! :)

I am from the Midwest. You have to give New York it's props because hip hop was founded in the Bronx. The south is hot right now, but you need to check out some of the underground stuff artists from NY are putting out. New york is still representin like they are suppose too. The south ain't running s h i t son so don't get it twisted. Don't sleep on the midwest, Twista, Common, Kayne West. Wake up son. Look how big the south is. It goes from Texas to Florida and all points in between. How can you compare several states to one... you can't. With all those states, the south should be in the lead with yall country a s sess.
