Is there a way to save mail in my Yahoo mail to a disk or flash drive?

With the free version of Yahoo Mail you are very limited on what you can and can't do. You will have to purchase Yahoo Plus! With Yahoo Plus you can configure your e-mail to work with MS Outlook. Which means you can do what ever you want with your mail.

Dont think you can extract it straight from the smtp server.. You can copy-paste, if your desperate. Only thing allowed is downloading attachments..
