This happened to me just last week. Someone dropped a $20 and a credit card (or bank card), and I stopped them and let them know. This is the way I was raised, and am raising my kids. If you want your kids to do the right thing, you have to be willing to do it yourself, not just when they are around. Unfortunately there are not enough honest people out there today, but to every one that said they would return it (and really mean it), way to go, you make me proud to be a human.

Honesty is everything. I would give it back because what if you where in there shoes wouldnt you wont the person that found it to tell you. Yes.. Most the time if someone drops that amount of money an you tell them they like your honesty and so they give you some of the money. So why not just give them it and just maybe get some money or if not atleast you will have done a good deed for the day.

Give them the money...it's not yours. If you misplaced an item, and found it at a friend's house, wouldn't you still feel it's yours. It's the same with found money and you know who it belongs to.

If it only takes $50 to make you a thief, then your value of what honestly means is very small to say the least. The Ten Commandments say not to steal...it doesn't say you can steal a little bit.

I would tell them. I know most people wouldn't do it for me if the tables were turned but I would because my parents taught me to be honest at all times.

I would pick it up and hand it to them and let them know they dropped it.

I would think about keeping it but in the end I would give it back.

If I saw who dropped it, I would definitely give it to them.

If it was just laying there and no one was around, I would probably scoop it up and stick it in my pocket.

I would tell them, and give it back to them. I've done it before.
