Every so many years,my mother would give our old clothes and toys to salvation army or some organization like it.So i have very few of my childhood trinkets.If I did,I'd probably hand them down or do the same.I'm not a very nostalgic person.

You save them so that one day you can give them to your children or a special child that will come along in your life. But if you do not see that happening I would say donate them!!

Either I scrapbook them or I put them away in boxes. Orrrrrrrrr I give them to my mom :]

If they are in good condition you save them. They could be

I guess you save them until you get sick of carting them around every time you move. They loose their meaning as you age.
