+ I think it depends on how it is said and if there was a pause after the Too Bad part. I would hope they were serious and genuine.

That is sooooo not appropriate. Someone died. People should show respect or sympathy, not jokes or rudeness. Especially not rudeness!

Appropriate as in fitting? Yes, I guess it technically is appropriate. Is it loving/caring/nice/sympathetic? Not really.....

well, it depends on how you say it. if you blurt it out like you could care less and are trying to let them know that, then no this is certainly not the right time to say it. but if you say, "aw that's too bad. awww, so sad. you poor thing" all sympathetically then, yeah it could be appropriate. it would be pretty corny, though. i like saying that, especially when someone is overcompainging and making a big deal out of something small and i could really care less.

i dont see the point of getting upset when someone dies, everyone is going to die, its a part of life, thats just how i feel. it wouldnt be appropriate to say that to someone who was really upset over someones death though.

If you said it like an idiot then it would not be appropriate. If you said it sad and slow.. To bad................. so sad! :*( I think it would be ok :)

well i think it depends on what they mean by it if they mean it in a good way like im sorry it sad then yea it would b but if they were saying it the sacastic way then i dont think it would b
