I've never had any trouble remembering anything after getting wasted. I think people just say that as an excuse b/c they do stupid stuff while they're drunk.

The reason you "black out" is because it is a sort of defense mechanism that your body does to protect you. When you can't think, you can't necessarily drink, so your brain shuts you down, to try to prevent you from giving yourself alcohol poisoning. When you black out, that means that your body is telling you it can't take any more alcohol, and trying to stop you from consuming anymore.

God is being kind to you! Blackouts are a symptom of a serious alchohol abuse problem. Alcholholics Anonymous can help you understand alchoholism & show you how to recover ( ie: live well & comfortably without drinking). Find AA in phone book. or e-mail me.

I always do..You must have been insanely drunk. That is not a good thing. You need to learn how to control your drinking.

usually if you drink too much you will pass out and when you wake up you usually wont remember what you did before you pass out a hangover can also do this from when you wake up from one hangovers also give you heaaches and the headaches will confuse you because they hurt alot especially migrane headaches they are the worst
