That really depends on the city /state laws... however i believe that if you drive your vehicle every 72 hours it is not considered abandoned. I manage an apartment complex and if we see cars that haven't moved we tag them to be towed... no we aren't horrible people... but our rule is 72 hours it needs to be moved or we tow (we generally don't stick to the 72 hours though, not enough time in the day to pay attention to stuff like that)... good luck

Different countries or states, different laws I guess !
Most places, though, I would have thought that if it is on your land then the authorities shouldn't be able to complain. In the UK I've had cars in my garden to restore for years and no problems, even when visible from the road.
Maybe if you've put a fence up on communal land (say round an apartment building) the owners could complain about what you keep there

No its not considered abandoned property. Look up the state law as it relates to abandoned property. You may be violating some sort of city ordinance withregards to what you are keeping in your yard.

Not if it is licensed. What kind and how much in terms of auto parts you can have on your property depends on your city ordinances and any home owners' association you are a part of.

this sounds like you have a pissed off neighbor, the city doesn't come looking into everyone back yard unless there is a complaint. if it is licensed, and parked on a slab it's legal. but the judge has told you what the law is.
