i was five weeks when i had a mc how long should i wait until i try again?

my dr says you dont have too. i had 4mcs and the last one that i had the dr said no waiting and i got preg the following month. make sure you lost all of it first because when you have a mc its like a wound and if you dont give it time to heal it could cause problems meaning the baby might not be able to attach itself properly if you get prg right away. im 21wks now so its up to you when you feel comfortable. im sorry for you loss and knows exactly how you feel. dont give up ever.

You should be able to try again , but i would consult with your doctor to make sure exactly when. I has a miscarrieg in January and it passed itself and no D&c was needed. I was able to start right away. But I waited to let mody heal itself. I started 4-5 months hesitantly, seriously in October and Just found out yesterday I am pregnant. So I would ask your DR.

ive had 5 mc im actually going through my 5th one now.my last one i got pregnant right away and have a beautiful baby girl.i would say its when u feel ready thats what my doc told me and take folic acid and prenanatal vitimind everyday.its importaint.you may also want to ask ur doc about asprin it helps if u are prone to mc but only 75mg per day its a very low dose!good luck love!!

My doctor told me to wait at least 6 weeks. But I would talk to your doctor. I had low HcG levels and mine had cleared by 6 weeks.

If you had a D&C - wait 3 cycles for your lining to rebuild itself. If you miscarried naturally you should wait at least one cycle to make sure everything is cleaned out.

(3-6 months) that is what my doctor told me after i m/c
