In many instances its pretty hard to take on the City. Say you were walking down the sidewalk and you trip over a electric line many times the cities will get out of any law suit...

And especially if your in a small town many of the lawyers may have or do work for the city in one form or the other...

Maybe you'll have to go out of town to get someone to consider your problems...

1. Represent yourself;

2. Keep trying until find an attorney that will take on the city;

3. Try looking for an attorney from another city;

4. Look for other ways besides the court system to "take on the city"; or

5. Consider the possibility that maybe your case/issue is very good or compelling.

you could possibly take it to the better business bureau, but they are probably in cahoots as well. You could try taking it to the law board, or whatever agency that handles questionable ethics in lawyers, or you can get a lawyer outside of town to take on your case. Are you sure it is just they won't take on the city, or is it b/c you don't have a case.
