Yes (speaking for myself and not for the entire USA). All you have to do is to read "The Prince" by Machiavelli and you will understand why the wealthy is the ruling class. Machiavelli wrote about what he saw (and he suffered because of it) whereas Locke wrote about what could be (and the Founding Fathers modeled the US Constitution after it). I would say that Machiavelli is proving correct over the "Great Experiment" of Democracy that led to the present United States of America.

Only a Mama's Boy who hates his Daddy for not getting rich and spoiling him supports any privileges by the children of the rich, who must be cut off from their parents' money and influence at the age of 18. If we have to do it on our own, so must the Preppies. We outnumber the rich 100 to 1 and can crush them like grapes. Any traitor who sticks up for their privileges must be treated with merciless contempt. You shouldn't even bother answering their idiotic charge that the only alternative to the present pre-owned democracy is socialist excessive control.

have you ever paid union dues? What workers are you able to imagine of that are union workers? i do not understand all of them yet I see. automobile workers (automobile businesses going bankrupt and getting bailouts). authorities workers (paid way more beneficial than the favourite worker who will pay their wages). instructors and different linked service workers that carry the known public hostage for larger taxes to pay their large one hundred and eighty day a three hundred and sixty 5 days salaries. Senator Bob Casey now needs the taxpayer to bail out failing union pension plans. He needs the decrease echelon which does not receive such reward to bail out those who do. i imagine we may be able to work out Democratic common sense right here. that's preserve your associates on the rate of the a lot less fortunate. we do not favor to hearken to anymore bleeding heart social justice thoughts from Democrats.

This country is still a republic, wherein a few (theoretically) qualified people make the decisions for the rest. That's why we still have the freakin' electoral college. The founding fathers did not wish to leave decisions up to to common man.
