now she hates me. she won't respond to my emails. she'll never forgive me this time. it was 1 lie too many. what do i do.

I know you must not of thought about it but, DON'T LIE! if she is ur friend u shouldn't feel the urge to lie to her. try to cut it. but for now just try to convince her that u changed and that u care about her feelings so u will never lie anymore.

Ask yourself this. Why does your friend feel it necessary to lie about this? It seems that you DO have an issue with her moving on. If you were truly her friend, you would approach this in a different manner. You would be there for her in a supportive fashion, not an accusatory one. It is always hard when someone loses a loved one, but especially hard when a life was planned with that person. Realize the long road she has travelled and be constructive toward that. Don't chastise her for her foibles, celebrate her achievements.

Did you tell her you're truly sorry? If you did and she's still mad, I think you should just work on being honest and give her time to heal. If you were good friends, I'm sure she'll forgive you.

Why do you need to lie to a friend ???....it makes them feel....A you dont trust them ...B..if you are a stranger to the truth.....C..That maybe you wanted to hurt them when they realised you lied .....D..that you think they are stupid
