i am 34 weeks at the moment and it is killing me not knowing exactly what i am having. my dr did a sonogram at 16 weeks and said it was a girl, personally i think that is to early to tell. every other time we have ha a sonogram the legs and feet have always been in the way and we cant see what it is.

this is my second child, with this one everything is so diffrent from the first time. my breast are not as big, nor do they leak as much, i get mad so much easier, im so much more hormonal, my face is not as broke out, im having heck sleeping, im carrying it so much lower, instead of my hips hurting on the outside i am having lower back pain and a lot earlier too.

anyone have any feedback? i wish there was womone out there that could predict the future, lol.

all opinions are welcome

Every pregnancy and child is different no matter if they're the smae sex or not. You can tell a baby's sex at 16 weeks, so I would go with what the doctor said. If your that stressed about it go visit one of those fetal photo places. It's about 75 bucks and you can get a second ultrasound. Doctors these days are usually right on the money. If he was sure, you should be too. If it's your second baby you could have it as early as 2 weeks early with a scheduled induction, talk to your doctor about it.

Well with my first they got a clear shot at 18 weeks and couldn't tell, I just sort of knew. I knew I was having a little boy, and no one on this Earth could have convinced me otherwise. I did, in fact, have a little boy. With my second pregnancy, I just knew, again, that I was going to have a little boy. Just knew it, and I was right. The last time I was pregnant, I just KNEW that it was going to be a little girl. I found out at 13 weeks that I was having twins! I knew the second that I saw them both playing on that sonagram that I was having a boy and a girl... I just KNEW it. I now have three boys and a girl. I can't quite explain it, a mother's instinct I guess. If they told you, and at 16 weeks, that was a little girl, but your gut tells you otherwise. I'm inclined to go with your gut here. But I would wait, before you run out and buy blue everything. (On the up side, you can always put a little girl in a baseball outfit with a red bow in her hair, and everyone's gonna know she's a little girl. You can't really bring a little boy home in something pink. You know what I mean?)

Just a bit of advice, worked for me and my sister. 20 minutes before your next ultrasound, drink a big glass of orange juice. Babies love orange juice! Makes them want to play. Playing babies can't be still....if you catch my drift!

Congrats, and good luck.

I am in my second pregnancy and it is completely different than my first. And I am having another boy. Just because things are different means nothing to the sex of your baby. If you are not confindent with the fact it is a girl, just get clothes that are white yellow and green, and save the buying of pink or blue till after the birth. 16 weeks does show pretty well what the sex is.

more than likely your having a girl. i went to the dr at 16wks and they told me i was having a girl too and then i just went back at 21wks and had them check again still a girl. they can see all the female parts beginning to form and if it was a boy they could not only see his little area but they say it looks like a frog. so good luck and start buying pink.

My friend had one at 20 weeks and they were able to tell the sex. I believe it depends on how new the equiptment is.

the only way you can make sure is another ultrasound. but I think your Dr is right.
if it was a boy legs would not cover it all...

good luck
