It sounds like way too much togetherness in the family. You really need to get out and live on your own. You can never truly grow up until you have your own home and the responsibilities which go with it.
Your mom is probably feeling the stress of having two families in the same home. It just doesn't work that way.

Who's house is it. Does your mom live with you two if so tell her to shut up or get out, end of story, your marriage is first. Now if you two live with her and she pays the bills then there is nothing you can really do but give mom some grugs in her coffee so she sleeps most of the time. or maybe time for mom to go a home, your marriage is top of list if it mean anything to you.

It's time to ask your mom to move out. She's a guest in your home and she has no right to treat anyone like that. It's your husband's home too, and he should have to deal with that under his own roof either.

I was in a similar situation after my mother had her stroke. It finally came to a head and she moved out. There is only so mauch you can do.

move out your mom raised you its time for her to have the house to her self maybe this is why she is so upset
