no you don't usually wear the hat. it might fit, but it also might have a huge poison us spider hiding inside the hat ready to bit you head off when you put it on. Also if you poor then you would wear the hat because you need the protection because your poor and it doesn't really matter if the spider bites you head off because you have nothing to loose anyways.
