I don't have a huge or even large wardrobe to choose from. I work in an office so I wear appropriate clothes. Mostly black/brown/beige slacks with button up or simple tops. I can't afford expensive suits to wear all of the time (although I did buy a suit and nice dress for a luncheon we had to put on for the governor). On the weekends I wear what I want, which is usually my Levi's and one of my 16 yr old daughter's t-shirts and athletic shoes. It's comfortable and not too tight. I think as long as your clothing fits you nicely, not too loose or too tight, wear what YOU like!

my kids feel the same way about me,i think that you should dress how you like,i am from up north and we females rock times and tight jeans,my daughter wears the same thing, lol,i think that it really depends on the ocassion,if you look younger you can get away with dressing younger,if you look older than your age you may wanna dress alil older, whatever that is.the way a woman dresses,or presents themselves in public does reflect on the man she's with.people tend to judge you by the way you dress, people always judge me by how i dress, but once i open my mouth its totally different.well there it is,best of luck sweetie!

The age change isn't enormous, however what approximately existence reports? I have a pal with three kids who divorced after 18 years of marriage. She dated a man a couple of years more youthful and he used to be high-quality, however WAY too younger for her. He had in no way been married, in no way had kids - he simply gave the impression a TON more youthful than her. They did get a divorce.

Any way you like. You are an adult. I didn't know they started making age appropriate clothes. I always thought the size method was a great way sell & buy.
Ask your husband, what he doesn't like and attempt to compromise. Your son, well you are the parent - there's not much more I can say about it.

Dress whatever you want to. As long as it doesn't reveal a lot. That's inappropriate for every age :)

I would wear jeans but not old lady jeans or teen jeans. Just jeans and maybe a button up shirt... or you could do the whole black fancy pants and white/pink/light blue fancy shirt thing

my mom is 46 and she has better style than me. wear cute fashionable clothes that arent revealing, like a tube top, and you should be fine. im not saying ignore youre family but theyd be more embarrassed if u wore a fanny pack and high water, elastic waist jeans
